Change management emphasises the “people side” of change and targets all levels of an organisation. In addition to change management processes, our point of differentiation is to use a Change Manager who has a strong background in Business Analysis who will work closely with Business Analysis Team.
When working with Data-Driven Strategies, we work very closely with the Master Data Warehouse team.
This ensures that the Change Manager has an intimate knowledge of the analysis as well as the people’s concerns, processes and most importantly the business dynamics within the organisation. The Change Manager can also facilitate change during the requirements gathering process, by anticipating questions, concerns and even potential points of resistance.
Our other point of differentiation is that we use what we term a “kaleidoscope” approach, where we take a highly granular view of the organisation, recognising that this is South Africa, and not the hallowed halls of American academia. We understand that EXCO and Senior Management have entirely different world-views from technical experts or shopfloor workers and customise our change interventions to suit each audience. The purpose is to instill the principle of CANEI (Constant And Never Ending Improvement) throughout the organisation as everyone moves towards the same goal, whether it be a new data-driven strategy or an ERP adoption.
When change management is done well, people feel engaged in the change process and work collectively towards a common objective, realising benefits and delivering results.
